Today’s Good Friday and we’re almost ready for our big trip around Australia. Recently, we’ve added an HF radio as well as a UHF radio. The UHF Radio (short for Ultra High Frequency Radio) is for short range communication while the HF (short for High Frequency Radio) can be used to contact, or be contacted from anywhere in the world. The antenna is two and a half metres tall, we had better be careful of bridges! Unfortunately, our holiday has been postponed due to an unfinished trailer, but we’re still hoping to go in the next week. We have a new laptop for schoolwork on the trip. It’s an Apple MacBook Pro. All we need to do before we leave is finish painting the trailer. We also need to make a piano case for Alistair’s new piano. It’s hard to believe that we were supposed to leave yesterday.
